Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Design Coordinator to join their team. As a leading Main Contractor, they specialise in delivering high-quality commercial, education, and healthcare projects across the region. This is a fantastic opportunity for a design professional to play a key role in ensuring smooth project delivery from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the design process, ensuring compliance with project requirements and regulations.
  • Liaise with architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to manage design deliverables.
  • Review drawings and specifications, identifying and resolving potential design issues
  • Support the construction team by ensuring design intent aligns with buildability.
  • Assist in obtaining approvals and liaising with planning authorities as required.
  • Ensure all design documentation is up to date and compliant with current regulations.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Design Coordinator (or similar role) within a Main Contractor.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes and technical design.
  • Knowledge of Building Regulations and industry standards
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or other design software (desirable).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
