The Role

We’re looking for a skilled Joinery Project Manager to run our high-end joinery projects in London. You’ll report to the Director and take charge of projects from start to finish, making sure they’re delivered on time, within budget, and to our exacting standards. This job needs someone who can lead teams, keep clients happy, and knows the ins and outs of bespoke joinery.

What You’ll Do
  • Run Projects: Oversee every stage, from planning to installation, ensuring everything meets the brief.

  • Deal with Clients: Be the main contact for clients, architects, and contractors, keeping everyone in the loop.

  • Lead Teams: Manage site teams, joiners, subcontractors, and workshop staff to hit project targets.

  • Handle Budgets and Schedules: Keep projects on track financially and time-wise, spotting and fixing risks early.

  • Ensure Quality: Check that all joinery work meets our high standards and client expectations.

  • Stay Safe: Make sure all site work follows health and safety rules.

  • Report Progress: Update senior management and clients with clear, regular reports.

  • Solve Problems: Tackle issues quickly to keep projects moving smoothly.

What We Need
  • Experience: At least 3-5 years managing joinery or high-end fit-out projects, with a solid track record.

  • Know-How: Deep knowledge of bespoke joinery, ideally from working with a joinery specialist.

  • Leadership: Proven ability to manage teams and subcontractors.

  • Communication: Great at dealing with clients and building trust.

  • Tech Skills: Comfortable with project management tools (e.g., MS Project) and reading CAD drawings.

  • Qualifications: A degree or diploma in construction/project management is a plus. CSCS card or SMSTS is helpful.

  • Personal: Organized, calm under pressure, and good at juggling deadlines.
