A well-established organisation operating in the energy and housing sector is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead the delivery of retrofit and energy efficiency projects across residential properties. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in project delivery, stakeholder management, and sustainable construction.

The Role:

You will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of energy-focused refurbishment projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. The role involves overseeing contractors, managing client relationships, and ensuring compliance with health and safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple retrofit and decarbonisation projects.
  • Manage all aspects of project delivery including procurement, cost control, and compliance.
  • Coordinate subcontractors and suppliers to ensure performance targets are met.
  • Maintain strong communication with residents, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure all works are delivered in line with current legislation and internal procedures.
  • Monitor project timelines and ensure key milestones are achieved.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Proven experience in project management within construction, energy, or housing sectors.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with retrofit, renewable technologies, or energy efficiency measures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
  • Comfortable managing multiple stakeholders and resolving issues proactively.
Essential Qualifications:
  • Recognised project management certification (e.g. PRINCE2).
  • SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme).
  • First Aid at Work certification.
  • Asbestos Awareness.
  • Scaffold Inspection (CISRS).
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
