About the Company:We are recruiting for an established construction company specialising in office fit-out, refurbishments, and design/build projects. With projects ranging from £1 million to £3 million, this company is well-known for delivering high-quality results across London. Their head office is based in Richmond, and they have a steady pipeline of exciting projects in central London.

The Role:We are looking for an experienced Project Manager, with at least 6 years in the fit out sector, to oversee a variety of office fit-out, refurbishment, and design/build projects. You will be responsible for managing every aspect of the project, ensuring delivery within budget, on time, and to the highest quality. This role is perfect for someone with a proven background in fit-out and refurbishments, looking for a new challenge within a thriving business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage office fit-out, refurbishment, and design/build projects, typically ranging from £1 million to £3 million in value.
  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial planning through to handover, ensuring timelines, budgets, and client expectations are met.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Take ownership of project budgets, ensuring cost control, financial reporting, and profitability.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure the quality of work and compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Proactively identify and resolve project challenges to keep work progressing smoothly.
  • Manage procurement and resource allocation to maximise efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Provide progress reports to senior management and key stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with all building codes, regulations, and company standards.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience managing office fit-out, refurbishment, and design/build projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, with expertise in both fit-out and refurbishment projects.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage teams and liaise confidently with clients.
  • Financial acumen and experience in managing project budgets and costs.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results under pressure.
  • In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Relevant qualifications in project management, construction management, or related fields are advantageous but not essential.
