Shirley Parsons is working with an established, yet growing fitout and refurbishment contractor based out of Central London. We are looking for a health and safety advisor for their flagship project, commencing in July. This role will suit candidates with a pragmatic approach that are able to be self-sufficient and take accountability when engaging with site operatives. This is a permanent position and the successful candidate will be embedded with further projects upon the completion of the current project, likely 2 years. Due to the urgency in this role, candidates with a shorter notice period will be at an advantage. This role will be 5 days onsite.
The Health and Safety Advisor will be responsible for:
- Carrying out inductions, RAMS reviews and providing advice to subcontractors
- Chairing bi-weekly safety meetings onsite
- Temporary Works as the dedicated Temporary Works Coordinator (there will be training provided for this if needed)
The Health and Safety Advisor will have:
- NEBOSH General at minimum with construction experience
- SMSTS and First Aid certification
- Experience working in a site-based role
- CDM knowledge and understanding
