Your new role
As an experienced Health and Safety Manager, you will lead and oversee all aspects of health, safety, and environmental compliance across multiple construction sites. This is a vital role within the business, ensuring that safety standards are not only met but continuously improved, driving a positive health and safety environment at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies and procedures in line with current legislation and best practices.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and reporting, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
  • Deliver training and toolbox talks to site teams and subcontractors.
  • Liaise with external bodies such as HSE, local authorities, and clients regarding health and safety matters.
  • Monitor and report on health and safety performance, producing detailed reports for senior management.
  • Champion a culture of safety, promoting awareness and engagement at all levels of the organisation

What you'll need to succeed

  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent qualification
  • Member of IOSH
  • Valid CSCS card.
  • Proven experience in a health and safety role within the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation and CDM regulations.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and influence others.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to various sites
