Your new role
Asa Senior Building Safety Manager, youwill lead a team of Building Safety Managers and oversee the development andimplementation of robust building safety management systems. You'll act as thekey liaison with regulators, fire authorities, and other stakeholders, ensuringcompliance with the Building Safety Act and associated legislation. Yourresponsibilities will include managing workflows, producing safety cases,tailoring resident engagement strategies, and preparing reports for seniorleadership and committees. This is a strategic role that combines leadership,technical expertise, and stakeholder engagement.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Proven leadership experience and ability to develop high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of building safety within large property portfolios.
  • Sound understanding of the Building Safety Act, Gateways, and digital building information requirements.
  • Experience in policy development, service improvement, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Recognised professional membership (CIOB, RICS, IFSM, IFE) or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage complex data and reporting.
  • Strong IT proficiency (Excel, Word).
  • Willingness to travel nationally and attend occasional evening meetings.
