Contract Manager - Facilities Management, Mobile - Canary Wharf to Southbank Place
Our client, a well-established and expanding facilities management business, is seeking a dynamic Contract Manager to take ownership of a portfolio of service contracts. This pivotal role will see you driving operational excellence, ensuring commercial success, and delivering outstanding service to valued clients.
As Contract Manager, you'll lead the day-to-day delivery of FM contracts, guiding teams to meet high standards of performance and compliance. Main Responsibilities
* Oversee the full contract lifecycle, including mobilisation, ongoing performance, change control, and renewals.
* Ensure services are delivered in line with contractual commitments, SLAs/KPIs, and all relevant health & safety standards.
* Monitor and analyse contract performance, identifying opportunities for innovation, efficiency, and service enhancement.
* Take full commercial responsibility for your contracts, managing budgets, financial reporting, and P&L performance.
* Act as the main point of contact for clients, developing and maintaining strong working relationships built on trust and transparency.
* Lead and support internal teams and supply partners to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery.
* Ensure full compliance with legal, regulatory, and company standards, with a particular focus on health & safety.
* Manage the mobilisation of new contracts, ensuring seamless transitions and positive client engagement from day one.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the FM industry (hard or soft services).
* Strong financial and commercial awareness with experience overseeing budgets and P&L.
* Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently at all levels.
* In-depth understanding of FM delivery models, SLAs, KPIs, and compliance frameworks.
* Experience managing multi-site operations and leading diverse teams.
* Relevant qualifications in Facilities Management, Engineering, or Business are desirable.
* Health & Safety qualifications (IOSH, NEBOSH, or equivalent) are highly advantageous.
