Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Line Chef to join our kitchen team, specialising in the preparation and cooking of traditional British fish and chips. The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality food, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Line Chef Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook fish and chips to a consistent high standard, following established recipes and portion sizes.
- Operate fryers and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Ensure all food is presented well and served hot and fresh.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, adhering to food safety standards at all times.
Line Chef Requirements:
- Previous experience as a line chef, fryer cook, or similar kitchen role preferred.
- Understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety practices.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
