Job Title: Python Risk Developer

Location: London/Bromley - Hybrid

Remuneration: Daily rate from 600

Contract Details: Fixed Term Contract, 12 months

Responsibilities:

  • Join our dynamic team focusing on the FICC Emerging Markets deliveries, specialising in algorithm development and strategic framework creation.
  • Play a crucial role in the development of the next-generation Risk platform for the Emerging Markets business.
  • Engage in all stages of the software development life cycle, collaborating daily with traders, quants, and senior stakeholders.
  • utilise your expertise to contribute to high-profile projects in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment.

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience at a tier-one bank or large financial organisation is a plus.
  • Extensive proficiency in Python, including libraries such as numpy and scipy.
  • Experience in Market Risk/Trader Risk development is highly advantageous, though not mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of Rates and Fixed Income products is desirable.
  • Familiarity with Market Data Feeds and consumption technology (e.g., Reuters, Bloomberg).
  • Understanding of Yield Curves and their construction.
  • Solid grasp of software engineering design patterns and practises.
