Service Transition Manager x2 (remote in the UK)I am recruiting for several service transition manages to work for a financial services client remotely in the UK.This role will be responsible for managing the introduction of change across the services, following principles ensuring the decision making of the change management group to reflect the team's commitment to safeguarding and protecting live serviceExperience* Improving live service by increasing the quality of changes coming in, with a strong focus on end user experience.* Assuring that quality standards, particularly non-functional requirements, are applied to all changes into the live service.* Defining and continuously improving the management system to identify, prioritise and track service improvements that have been raised through Service Transition activities.* Experience of Release & Change processes* Experience of Change Management processes* Experience of managing stakeholder groups across all Departments* Working with the Release / implementation teams for Continuous improvement of the release process alongside the release teams* Previous or current experience in a Service Management, Release or Service Introduction Management background* Championed risk assessment and mitigation strategies to address potential transition challenges and service disruptions* Creation of service design packs covering agreed SLAs, support models, RACIs etc.* Broad knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems and services.* Knowledge of Project Management principles and methods.* Previous or current experience in a Service Management role.* Service Now knowledge and experience desirable.* ITIL qualifications* Knowledge or hands on experience in Release Management role.* A sound understanding of the Financial Services industry would be of benefit, though not essentialThese roles is fully remote in the UK, six months length in contract, rate is £300 - £334 per day via umbrella and inside IR35.
