Senior Paralegal - Residential Property

My team is seeking an experienced and highly organised Senior Paralegal to join our Residential Property team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage a diverse caseload with confidence, and is committed to delivering exceptional client service.

As a key member of the team, you will handle a broad range of residential conveyancing matters, support junior colleagues, and contribute to the smooth running of the department. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled paralegal looking to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage your own caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, remortgages, transfers of equity, and new-build transactions.
  • Draft, review, and prepare contracts, transfer documents, and all associated legal paperwork.
  • Conduct title checks, raise and respond to enquiries, and ensure all compliance requirements are met.
  • Liaise confidently with clients, estate agents, lenders, and other solicitors, providing clear updates and maintaining strong relationships.
  • Prepare completion statements, handle exchange and completion processes, and manage post-completion matters including SDLT submissions and Land Registry applications.
  • Support fee earners and senior colleagues with complex matters where required.
  • Mentor and guide junior members of the team, providing support and sharing technical knowledge.
  • Maintain accurate records and case management data in line with regulatory and firm-wide procedures.
  • Contribute to team development, suggesting improvements to processes and workflows.
