Client Details

An exciting role has opened up for a Credit Analyst to join a high performing team who have a strong focus on large-cap leveraged loans. The team are small in size, with headcount of c10 people, and the structure is relatively flat which means you get to work alongside and be mentored by some really experienced individuals across analyst level right up to MD level.

Description

In comparison to how a lot of other teams operate whereby you are a small fish in a big pond, this team are looking for an enthusiastic analyst, who will role up their sleeves and who wants to be heavily involved in deals, as well as wanting to take on some responsibilities once you are up and running.

  • This is a unique opportunity to work on sponsor backed LBOs across Europe, within a well capitalised (CLO) platform.
  • Conduct full credit due diligence on new transactions including business review, financial analysis, downside cases and financial modelling as well as review of legal documentation, and present at Investment Committees.
  • Consider ESG criteria for all credits in collaboration with the ESG team.
  • Identify any under-performing assets early and provide recommendations on strategy to senior management
  • Analysis and preparation of reports for new transactions, amendments & waivers on existing allocated portfolios and re-financing opportunities

Profile

?? At least 2 years experience within Leveraged Finance / Large Cap exposure?? Competent with reviewing Information Memorandums and writing robust credit papers?? Confident in your financial modelling skills, not necessarily building from scratch but using a template and adjusting as needed?? You must be a fluent/business proficiency level French speaker (extremely relative for the portfolio of investors the team work with)?? You need to have full rights to work in the UK, sponsorship is not available?? Salary £50k - £60k depending on experience
