Senior Credit Analyst

We are currently working with a speciality re-insurer in London who are looking for a Senior Credit Analyst to join their global underwriting team.

Position Overview

This is a high-impact role focused on technical analysis and underwriting support across a range of complex reinsurance risks. You'll work with internal stakeholders on model development, portfolio analytics, and support innovative product development-all within a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Key Responcibilities

  • Provide analytical insight and underwriting recommendations across assumed risks including primary/facultative reinsurance, excess of loss, proportional business, and capital market transactions

  • Support model deployment and development (internal and third-party)

  • Enhance risk systems, exposure management tools, and portfolio reporting capabilities

  • Collaborate on model research, benchmarking, and bespoke portfolio analysis

  • Help maintain and build our market presence

What You Bring

  • Degree-level education

  • Experience in reinsurance, insurance, or broking-ideally in Financial Risks/Credit

  • Strong problem-solving mindset with excellent attention to detail

  • Proficiency in Excel; SQL a plus

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

  • A self-assured, collaborative approach and the agility to thrive in a dynamic underwriting environment
