Are you ready to make a difference in your community? Join a team as a Control Centre Monitoring Officer and play a vital role in ensuring safety and efficiency in our operations!

As a key player in the Control Room, you'll support front-line operational officers and collaborate with the Metropolitan Police to monitor and manage essential services. Your tasks will include:

  • Conducting vital data checks using various systems
  • Monitoring CCTV cameras in line with the CCTV Code of practise
  • Responding to Council Out of Hours calls for housing repairs and social service referrals

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to frontline officers through radio and phone communication
  • Maintain high standards of service delivery to residents and businesses
  • Efficiently operate and monitor CCTV systems, ensuring compliance with procedures
  • Update computer systems and maintain meticulous records

What We're Looking For:

  • Basic understanding of local authority enforcement practises and relevant legislation
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience in a call centre environment and operating CCTV systems
