About the RoleAs a key member of the team, you will oversee the coordination of shipments, liaise with internal departments and external partners, and ensure a smooth, high-quality experience for clients. This role demands a proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage shipment bookings and maintain clear, professional communication with clients
- Coordinate logistics with internal teams and third-party providers
- Handle a high volume of emails and calls with efficiency and professionalism
- Prepare and dispatch shipments, including physical handling when necessary
- Process incoming and outgoing correspondence, including letters and cheques
- Provide in-person customer service when required
- Keep clients informed of any delays or issues proactively
- Support colleagues during absences and contribute to a collaborative team culture
- Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance service delivery
- Strong customer service focus with the ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Confident in handling phone and email correspondence
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Friendly, professional, and a strong team player
- Able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines under pressure
- References covering the past 5 years
- A successful DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
