My client is seeking a candidate with experience in Ecommerce Operations, initially for around 3 months, however there is the potential of something longer-term.
Job Spec:
- Lead the online retail customer service operation, including supervision some supervision of colleagues.
- Work with other Zendesk users in the business to develop and improve the platform to meet objectives.
- Monitor and process customer refunds, issuing store credit where relevant.
- Resolving customer order and instore purchase queries including enquiries submitted in Zendesk
Dealing with quires swiftly in a professional manner and maintaining accurate records
- Updating various logs accurately and liaising with team to resolve queries relating to order issues.
- Have experience in a customer service. Preferrable experience with Zendesk.
- Would ideally have experience of leading a or leading a small team
- A natural problem solver and self-starter, willing to investigate queries/complaints with the confidence to deal with these in a timely fashion
- Experience of dealing with enquiries both in person and over the phone/email
- Friendly, approachable, patient and driven. Able to lead and motivate a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A flexible approach and ability to remain calm when dealing with difficult people or balancing conflicting priorities
- Process orientated with strong organisational skills
- Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Office, Google Suite)
- Capable of working as part of a fast-paced team and comfortable working independently,
- Experience in ecommerce operations/merchandising
- Intermediate to Advance Excel skills. With a high degree of computer literacy in all other Microsoft packages (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience using Order Management and Warehouse Management Systems.
- Hands on experience with an ecommerce platform.
- Experience managing complex projects within the group.
- Experience using work management tools such as JIRA or Asana as part of daily work
- Experience working with Analytics and Business Intelligence tools.
- Basic HTML knowledge
- Commercially aware with an interest in ecommerce ideally within retail,
- Forward thinking - presenting recommendations to resolve along with the potential issue
- Ability to work on own initiative. Completes tasks accurately and on time, with strong attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Enjoys taking on challenges.
