Transcreation Specialist
Location: London (Hybrid - 3 days in office)
Contract: 4 months (ASAP start)
Pay: 24 per day, full time
The Role
As part of the global creative services team, you'll support the localisation and adaptation of marketing content to ensure campaigns are culturally relevant, accurate, and engaging. You'll collaborate closely with in-house creatives and external vendors, balancing multiple projects while maintaining the highest standards of linguistic and cultural quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage small-to-medium creative transcreation and translation projects from planning to delivery
- Collaborate with creative teams and external partners to ensure accurate and timely content adaptation
- Support linguistic quality assurance and maintain translation term bases
- Provide cultural insights to ensure campaigns resonate across diverse markets
- Proofread and edit marketing content across digital, social, and email channels
About You
We're looking for someone with a mix of creative flair and project management skills:
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Degree in Linguistics, Translation, Communications, or related field
- 2+ years in a creative, marketing, or localisation role (agency or in-house)
- Proven experience in marketing localisation or transcreation for global audiences
- Fluency in English
- Strong eye for detail with excellent proofreading/editing skills
- Experience supporting campaigns across digital, social, or email platforms
- Familiarity with translation management systems
Preferred Skills:
- Additional fluency in one or more languages (e.g. French, German, Spanish, Italian, Arabic, Turkish, Japanese, Mandarin) - desirable, not essential.
- Experience in translation QA and term base management
- Recruitment marketing knowledge (desirable, not essential)
- Strong organisational skills and experience managing creative projects
