Finance Data Analyst

Rate - Up to £550 per day inside IR35 overall assignment rate to umbrella

Sanderson are working exclusively with a leading insurance client who are looking for a Finance Data Analyst to join a finance focused data transformation project.

Role Expectation: A Finance Business Data Analyst who identifies and analyses prospective Finance Data Products. The Finance Business Data Analyst will also enable Finance Data Product design and build through delivery of business-enabling artefacts (e.g. data dictionary). The Finance Business Data Analyst supports group-wide delivery by overseeing and embedding Finance Data Standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define and manage data catalogue, dictionary and other business-enabling artefacts, ensuring consistency of data definitions and mappings and facilitating alignment between Data Product Owners where necessary.
  • Deliver and maintain Data & Reporting Strategy, identifying potential duplicate reports and facilitating its alignment where appropriate; propose retirement of metrics and reports with low use.
  • Define and support delivery of unmet data requirements and propose new Data Products to meet data requirements, inputting to the design of Finance data models.
  • Conduct initial SME interviews jointly with the Business Owner. Support Business Owner in further engagement and scoping activities, produce deliverable under the leadership of the Business Owner.
  • Looking for someone who has ideally worked in the insurance sector.
