My client is seeking an experienced M&E Project Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join their team of 10 for upcoming projects in London, particularly in the education, data centre, and commercial fit-out sectors.
Candidates should have experience working with M&E contractors and possess relevant qualifications, with a focus on strong communication skills.
The role involves preparing and monitoring project cash flow forecasts, negotiating contract variations, and managing final accounts.
While experience in the data centre sector is beneficial, it is not a strict requirement, and the company values ambition and enthusiasm towards career development.
The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience, with a preference for candidates having several years of relevant experience.

Due to recently secured work my client is now looking to recruit an experienced M&E Project QS to their team of 10to assist with upcoming projects and pipeline. Typical work is within the education, data centre and commercial fit out sectors covering multiple projects across London

Experience working within the data centre sector would be beneficial but is not required.

Duties:

Prepare and monitor project cash flow forecasts.
Measure, value, submit and negotiate contract variations.
Provide advice to project staff on commercial and contractual matters including reviewing and drafting of correspondence.
Prepare submit and negotiate project final accounts.
Commercial vetting of sub contractor tenders and contracts.
Certification of subcontractor monthly valuations and final accounts.
Ensure that business commercial processes are adhered to at project level.
Assist in preparation and adherence to project purchasing targeting and costing budgets.
