A new opportunity exists within one of the UK's leading healthcare organisations, to join as Information Governance Lead & Data Protection Officer. This is an award-winning, well-established organisation providing invaluable, life-changing services across the UK.

You will be highly experienced and knowledgable in all aspects of data protection and information governance such asISO 27001, the Freedom of Information Act, and the principles of information security management.

This is a large, complex business that is leading the industry in various areas of healthcare provision. You will lead on information governance related matters, ensuring robust policies and procedures are in place across the group's businesses, managing & reporting on compliance, leading the response to data breaches, and working with the CIO and Head of Cyber Security on information governance-related cyber security matters.

You will be someone who is comfortable in a dispersed, complex business environment, and enjoys managing key stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally. The position will see you managing communication of sensitive and highly complex information to a range of audiences. Your troubleshooting skills coupled with your knowledge will allow you to advise the most senior levels of management within the organisation.
