My client in Greater London is looking to appoint a talented Transformation Data Analyst on a Contract basis.

This role will provide analytical support to the transformation team, enabling the Council to be high-performing and resident focused.

About the role:

Based in Greater London (Hybrid):

  • Collaborating with cross-functional corporate and service directorate teams to support engagement and project delivery
  • Applying analytical skills to deliver objective, impactful, and actionable insights for the benefit of the Council's services and residents
  • Preparing dashboards, presentations, and reports to effectively communicate insights
  • Providing subject matter expertise coaching and support to non-technical colleagues

About you:You will have the following experiences:

  • Experience in an analytical role in local government and familiarity with local government datasets
  • Experience with programming languages such as R/Python, querying languages such as SQL, standard BI tools such as Power BI and Tableau, and cloud services such as Microsoft Fabric.
  • Experience in an analytical role in local government with knowledge of data systems and processes and familiarity with local government datasets
  • Understanding of financial accounting and flow accounting / cost-to-serve models is desirable
