AWS Data Engineer

Hybrid working pattern 3 days per week in the London office

My client, an investment bank in London, are seeking a talented Senior AWS Data Engineer to join their growing data practice within the UK.

The bank is in the middle of a transition programme to cloud, with existing systems and services being migrated onto AWS as part of a larger shift towards a cloud first model.

The ideal candidate must have:

Strong experience as an AWS Data Engineer
Proven experience in designing and implementing data solutions in large-scale enterprise environments
Extensive experience in AWS services, e.g. EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Redshift, Lambda, API Gateway
Strong SQL skills for complex data queries and transformations
ETL Pipelining experience
Experience with Python
AWS Certifications are a plus
Banking experience
Must have experience of working closely with business teams and communicating with senior stakeholders.
