Job Title: Data Migration Specialist

Contract duration: 6 months - view to extend/go permanent

Work pattern: 2 days in the office

Rate: 500-£600 per day (outside IR35)

Cedar have exclusively partnered with a Global Fintech based in Central London who are looking to appoint a Data Migration specialist to oversee the data conversion workstream as part of a new billing implementation.

The ideal candidate will have experience of leading large finance data migration projects, have team management experience and ensure a seamless reconciliation between the legacy and new billing system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the data conversion team, overseeing work allocation, progress tracking and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle
  • Own end to end digitisation of legacy paper based contracts into structured digital records in the new system
  • Interpret complex commercial agreements and configure product mappings and billing structures accordingly
  • Lead reconciliation efforts between the legacy and new billing system, ensuring alignment of billing amounts, fee schedules and revenue accounting
  • Troubleshoot and resolve data discrepancies

Your Profile:

  • Experience of leading on large finance data migration projects - ideally working with Billing systems
  • Experience of reconciling legacy financial systems to new platforms, ensuring data integrity and consistency
