L&D Consultant (AI and Data)

We are looking for an experienced L&D Consultant (AI and Data) to join a public sector organisation in London. This temporary role focuses on designing and delivering learning and development initiatives specifically tailored to AI and data within the Human Resources department.

Description

• Develop a coherent, organisation-wide learning strategy that builds confidence, capability and responsible use of data and AI.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and objectives.
• Design engaging and effective training materials tailored to the public sector environment.
• Deliver training sessions, workshops, and seminars to diverse audiences.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives and recommend improvements.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in AI and data to ensure content relevance.
• Provide expert advice to the Human Resources team on AI and data learning strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of training activities and outcomes.

Profile

• Extensive experience in L&D strategy, organisational development, or talent management at a senior/strategic level.
• Significant experience in designing and implementing enterprise-level data, digital or AI capability strategies.
• Strong understanding of AI fundamentals, data literacy, responsible/ethical AI use, and emerging industry trends.
• Demonstrated expertise in building structured learning pathways and capability frameworks.
• Experience working with apprenticeship levy-funded programmes and/or accredited technical learning pathways.
• Proven ability to work at a strategic level and influence senior stakeholders.
• Outstanding communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.

Job Offer

• An hourly pay rate between PAYE: 59.26 per hour OR Limited/Umbrella: 80.00 per hour
