Our client, an award-winning SaaS organization, is seeking an experienced Statistician/Data Modeller for a 12-month contract in Central London, with a hybrid work model requiring 2-3 days in the office each week.
The role involves assisting in the transition from correlation-based reporting to causal-based decision-making, guiding key marketing investment decisions.
Candidates should have 5+ years of experience in market science or data analytics roles, with a strong background in SQL and advanced predictive modeling.
A Bachelor's degree in quantitative Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, or Data Science is required, along with familiarity with Marketing Mix Models and Bayesian inference.

Responsibilities

Forecasting:Buildpredictivemodelstosimulatebusinessoutcomesundervariouseconomicandbudgetaryscenarios,actingasthe"radar"forthemarketingdepartment.
ServeastheanalystleadfortheDataCleanRoom(DCR)strategy,specificallywithinMetaAdvancedAnalytics(AA)
SQL:WriteandoptimizeadvancedSQLqueries
LearningAgenda&CausalExperimentation.DesignandexecuterigorousConversionLiftStudies(CLS)andBrandLiftStudies(BLS).

Skills

5+yearsofexperienceworkinginmarketsscienceordataanalytics teamsorotherrelevantroles.
B.ScinaquantitativeEconomics,Statistics,Mathematics,DataScience).
SQL:Advancedlevel.AbilitytowritecomplexCTEs,windowfunctions, andoptimizejoinsfordistributedsystems.
ExperiencewithMarketingMixModels(MMM).Understandingof Bayesianinference,Adstocktransformations,andsaturationcurves.

Usefulexperience

Hands-onexperiencewithatleastonemajorDCRenvironment.
Deepunderstandingofhypothesistesting,confidenceintervals, p-values,andselectionbias.
UnderstandingofAdTechandpaidmediamechanics,marginprofiles.
