Client Details

To support their continued growth, they are looking for a Collections Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, empathetic, and passionate about delivering positive outcomes for both the business and its customers.

Description

  • Deliver top-tier service when resolving underpayments or non-payments.

  • Manage high-value arrears cases, often involving unique or complex circumstances.

  • Handle inbound and outbound communications with care and professionalism.

  • Create bespoke written correspondence with high attention to detail.

  • Build constructive relationships with merchants to understand and address their challenges.

  • Develop and implement payment solutions tailored to individual business needs.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to strategize on account-level recovery actions.

  • Support strategy development with leadership on broader collections approaches.

  • Understand insolvency processes and legal escalation within collections.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and legislative guidelines.

  • Demonstrate empathy, professionalism, and resilience in all interactions.

Profile

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience working in a Collections/Credit Control/Debt Recovery environment.
  • Highly dependable, organised, and flexible.

  • Detail-oriented and confident working with data.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit and strong work ethic.

  • A team player who thrives in collaborative environments.

  • Experience in the finance industry is a plus.

  • Capable of managing complaint processes with a positive and professional approach.
