We are looking for a detail-oriented Reconciliation Specialist to join our accounting and finance team in London. This role is critical in ensuring the financial health of our not-for-profit organisation through efficient management of receivables from Gift aid.

Description

  • Manage the invoicing process, ensuring invoices are sent out promptly and accurately.
  • Maintain and reconcile account ledgers by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.
  • Resolve account discrepancies by investigating documentation.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Communicate with clients regarding billing issues.
  • Prepare financial reports by collecting, analysing, and summarising account information.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Help with resolving control accounts

Profile

A successful Accounts Receivable Specialist should have:

  • A strong understanding of accounting principles.
  • Proven experience in a reconciliation role role.
  • Proficiency in excel and manipulating data
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
