Senior Operations Officer | Part-time (3 day) | £17-22ph | Charity | Hybrid | 3 months with possibility of going permanent

We're seeking a highly organised and motivated Operations Assistant to support the effective delivery of IT, facilities, and health & safety functions a social welfare charity. This is a vital coordination role to help keep the systems running, spaces safe, and services responsive. This role will initially be on a contract basis but a high likelihood that it to goes permanent. It will also be a 3 day a week position, however the hours can be managed flexibly and the candidate would be required on site in Central London 2 of the 3 days

This role offers a unique opportunity to gain broad experience in both IT and estates operations, with a focus on supporting procurement, project coordination, and contractor liaison.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the management of outsourced contractors (IT services and estate management), helping to coordinate scheduled and reactive work
  • Assist in the coordination of day-to-day IT and facilities operations
  • Be the first point of contact for staff IT and facilities queries, resolving or escalating as needed
  • Help track and manage IT equipment, supporting procurement and inventory
  • Maintain accurate records for IT and estates projects, including budgets, purchases, and contractor activity
  • Support the delivery of health and safety standards across all operational areas
  • Contribute to project delivery, ensuring milestones and actions are met
  • Assist in monitoring and reporting on IT and facilities budgets, identifying savings and efficiencies
  • Proactively identify and suggest areas for operational improvement
