Maintenance Technician - PBSA site in Central London
We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team at a busy Purpose Built Student Accommodation site in Central London. If you take pride in delivering high-quality repairs, maintenance, and both planned and reactive works - all while maintaining a positive, helpful, and courteous attitude- we'd love to hear from you.
About the Role:
As a Maintenance Technician, your key responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out minor day to day repairs and general maintenance tasks.
- Communicating effectively with residents, clients, contractors and colleagues.
- Monitoring and updating our electronic maintenance reporting system.
- Diagnosing and resolving maintenance issues to a high standard.
- Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
- Conducting PAT tests, emergency lighting inspections, weekly fire alarm checks and assisting with fire evacuation procedures.
Knowledge and Qualifications:
- A reasonable level of general education
- Strong awareness of Health and Safety on site.
- Recognised trade qualifications
About you:
- Previous experience in residential property maintenance (ideally)
- Skilled in maintaining and monitoring hot and cold water systems
- Flexible and adaptable to a fast paced, changing environment.
- Ability to complete tasks efficiently and to a high standard within agreed time frames.
- Well organised and capable of multitasking effectively.
