Our client is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee and lead a team on a residential block based in SW London.

Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 DOE

Rota: Monday - Friday

Main Duties:

  • Ensure you are the focal point for activities on site.
  • Assist leaseholders and tenants, either via telephone/video calls or in person regardingmaintenance issues, complaints, emergencies and additional requests.
  • Maintain a strong sense of pride in the development which should rub off on others.
  • Ensure an atmosphere of helpfulness and courtesy.
  • Manage the client relationship proactively, reporting to the board/managing agents at requiredintervals in the agreed formats.
  • Use the systems at your disposal, to track and action a wide range of issues, adhere to KPIs and be able to show the directors and managing agent the status of all issues.
  • To effectively manage the team of front-of-house porters and the cleaners, ensuring that theyare motivated in carrying out their duties and that they deliver a high standard of service toresidents and guests.
  • Provide a visible presence of on-site management at times of peak resident movement, i.e.mornings and evenings.
  • Rostering of the team and ensuring that there is adequate cover at all times.

You must have a strong solid proven track record within a similar environment, an understanding of building maintenance and residential property law, knowledge of Health & Safety in the workplace and carrying out risk assessments.

The successful candidate will be IT literate, have excellent communication, organisational and time management skills as well as being truly motivated, tenacious, and resourceful.
