Cobalt is pleased to be working on an exceptional opportunity to appoint a General Manager for a landmark multi-let commercial building in one of London's most vibrant commercial districts.

This premium-grade property spans multiple storeys, combining modern design with an enviable location that bridges the traditional City core with a dynamic, innovation-focused neighbourhood. With a recently refurbished reception and a diverse occupier profile, the building offers a unique platform for an experienced operational leader to make a tangible impact.

The successful candidate will lead the day-to-day management of this prominent commercial asset, ensuring best-in-class service delivery across occupier engagement, facilities management, compliance, financial oversight, and supplier coordination. This role plays a pivotal part in enhancing tenant experience and overall asset performance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Acting as the primary contact for occupiers, partners, and contractors

  • Managing on-site teams and fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability

  • Overseeing budgets, service charge processes, and procurement strategies

  • Ensuring statutory and ESG compliance, including emergency and business continuity planning

  • Supporting wider asset and leasing strategies through operational insight

We are seeking a hands-on and commercially astute leader with a track record of managing large-scale, multi-tenanted commercial office environments. You'll be able to demonstrate strong Building Management skills, as well as the ability to enhance and improve FM service provision to your customers, as well as in developing your team professionally alongside you. An IOSH or NEBOSH is essential.
