As the Business Development Manager, you will have the following key responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold outreach, inbound leads, networking, and events.
- Understand client needs and propose software solutions that align with their goals.
- Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demos.
- Collaborate with the technical team to scope out project requirements and time lines.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close deals.
- Maintain CRM records and regularly update pipeline status.
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with prospective and current clients.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competition, and emerging technologies.
Profile
The successful Business Development Manager candidate will have the following:
- Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally in the tech or software development sector.
- Strong understanding of software development services, SaaS, or IT solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently.
- Experience with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce).
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
