About the Role:
The Head of Ecommerce and Digital will be pivotal in implementing a comprehensive 360-degree strategy to accelerate online growth. This individual will hold full P&L responsibility for Ecommerce, Digital Marketing, and CRM, and will be accountable for driving revenue growth, profitability, and customer lifetime value. A strong emphasis will be placed on optimising Return on Ad Spend (ROAS), enhancing Customer Relationship Management (CRM), improving User Experience (UX), and maximising Conversion rates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the end-to-end digital strategy to achieve substantial online growth.
- Manage the full P&L for Ecommerce, Digital Marketing, and CRM.
- Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth, profitability, and customer lifetime value.
- Lead demand and customer behaviour forecasting to inform strategic decisions.
- Manage budgets effectively and optimise revenue generation during a period of significant growth.
- Align the digital strategy closely with customer behaviour, trading patterns, and stock management.
- Embed a data-driven, 'customer-first’ approach across all digital activities.
- Lead the development and execution of the website and broader digital roadmap.
- Oversee performance marketing activities, managing paid media channels, agencies, and marketing expenditure to drive customer acquisition.
- Fully own lifecycle marketing, customer segmentation, and CRM initiatives to enhance customer retention and Lifetime Value (LTV).
- Collaborate with relevant teams to develop and implement an international online growth strategy.
- Manage the localisation of online platforms, including content, visuals, product presentation, and payment processing where required.
- Work collaboratively to promote data-driven decision-making, improve tracking, reporting, and insights generation.
- Proactively explore and adopt new technologies to enhance customer engagement and drive innovation.
- Develop accurate business forecasts and be fully accountable for all relevant Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Effectively utilise analytics and data to build detailed customer profiles and enhance the overall customer experience.
- Partner with the Website Development team to continuously develop and improve website functionality and user experience.
Skills and Experience:
- Significant and demonstrable experience in successfully growing an online ecommerce business within the retail sector.
- Strong expertise in ROAS, CRM, UX, and Conversion optimisation, with a proven ability to implement successful business-wide strategies.
- Exceptional analytical skills and proficiency with Google Analytics and other similar analytical tools.
- A practical understanding of Artificial Intelligence, its available tools, and its potential to enhance online businesses.
- Excellent organisational skills are crucial for managing complex ecommerce operations.
