Purpose:

Reporting into the Vice-President of External Engagement, you will be responsible for leading, supporting and guiding the Brand and Communications teams during an exciting rollout of a refreshed brand visual identity and narrative

  • Rollout of a refreshed brand visual identity and narrative: drive engagement and advocacy of the universities brand across channels to support recruitment.
  • Impactful CRM customer journeys and conversion marketing to potential students and offer holders.
  • Advertising campaigns that deliver excellent ROI
  • Engaging social media content, and appealing and compliant copy for our prospectuses and marketing collateral

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, motivate and coach teams of high performing and highly skilled marketing, brand, CRM, design and social media professionals. Ensure team members perform at a consistently high level and achieve that deliver on strategic objectives.
  • Lead the rollout of a refreshed brand framework for the universities that includes an updated visual identity and new brand narrative.
  • Work with the Brand team and colleagues across the organisation to ensure a smooth and planned transition.
  • Secure university wide buy-in for the brand refresh by building positive and constructive relationships with key internal stakeholders and working closely with the Director of Communications to deliver a successful communications and engagement strategy.
  • Ensure colleagues have the tools and guidance they need to make effective use of the refreshed brand.
  • Oversee the marketing elements of our Microsoft Dynamics CRM solution. Provide strategic advice and support on the future roadmap for CRM journeys and content.
  • Support the Head of Marketing and colleagues in measuring key performance metrics across channels ensuring the student applicant journey and experience is optimised.
  • Work closely with the Strategic Communications to ensure the delivery of consistent brand narrative and message across all channels.
  • Develop and grow partnerships with supplier agencies ensuring value for money.
  • Build positive relationships with the wider teams
  • Attend graduation ceremonies and three open days for prospective students

Your Experience:

  • Experience of managing brand in a complex organisation, with the ability and experience of rolling out a brand refresh
  • Extensive experience in High Education marketing leadership at a Senior level
  • Hands on experience in developing and implementing CRM strategies that drive conversation through all customer channels
  • The ability to write strategies, business cases and marketing plans to present to Senior Management
