Manager of Digital and MarTech
Global Health and Wellness business are looking to recruit a Manager of Digital and MarTech to join their busy and established team. Reporting directly to the VP, Digital, you will serve as the technical backbone for their marketing operations across Europe.This position will require effective communication and collaboration across time zones while ensuring the seamless integration, functionality, and optimization of their digital platforms and marketing technology stack.You will be responsible for managing the technical integrity of all digital touchpoints—including the website(s), distributor back office, email systems, SMS platforms, and social media integrations—by ensuring systems are properly configured, content is accurately deployed, links function properly, and campaigns execute as designed across all channels. This role will work closely with Marketing to implement their campaigns, troubleshoot technical issues, optimize platform performance, and provide the technical expertise needed to support successful digital marketing initiatives.
Duties include:
- Manage and optimize the company's MarTech stack to ensure seamless integration between platforms and systems that support marketing initiatives across Europe.
- Oversee the technical implementation of digital marketing campaigns, including proper setup, testing, and deployment of email journeys, SMS sequences, landing pages, and other digital assets.
- Ensure the technical integrity of the website and distributor back office, including regular audits of functionality, data accuracy, content updates, and performance optimization.
- Implement QA processes for digital marketing campaigns, verifying that links function correctly, forms capture data properly, and content displays accurately across devices and platforms.
- Collaborate with Marketing to translate campaign requirements into technical specifications and ensure proper implementation across digital channels.
- Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues across digital marketing platforms, providing timely resolution to maintain operational continuity.
- Develop and maintain documentation for MarTech processes, system configurations, and technical workflows to ensure consistency and knowledge retention.
- Aid in platform migration and integration projects as they adopt new marketing technologies and enhance existing systems.
- Ensure compliance with European data protection regulations (GDPR, ePrivacy) across all digital marketing systems and platforms.
- Analyse performance data and technical metrics to identify opportunities for platform optimization, automation, and improved efficiency.
- Stay current with MarTech trends and innovations, evaluating new tools and technologies that could enhance marketing operations.
- Provide technical training and support on digital platforms and tools to maximize adoption and effectiveness across local marketing team(s), Field Support, Field Development, and occasionally to the Field directly.
- Any proficiency or experience with web design is preferred, but not required.

- Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of marketing technology platforms and digital infrastructure, including CMS systems, email marketing platforms, SMS tools, CRM systems, and analytics tools.
- Systems Integration Expertise: Experience connecting disparate marketing systems and ensuring seamless data flow and user experience between platforms in a complex technology ecosystem.
- Project Management: Demonstrated ability to manage technical implementation projects, prioritize competing requests, and deliver solutions within established timelines.
- Data Privacy Knowledge: Thorough understanding of European data protection regulations (GDPR, ePrivacy) and their technical implementation requirements across marketing systems.
- Time Zone Management: Capability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across multiple time zones, particularly with US-based leadership.
- Ability To Work Remotely: This role requires flexibility to work from home, while traveling, and from corporate offices across Europe. As a Digital champion in the region, you must be comfortable managing responsibilities remotely while maintaining strong collaboration with teams across multiple locations.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in marketing technology, digital operations, or similar technical roles supporting marketing functions.
- Proven experience implementing and managing marketing automation platforms, CMS systems, email marketing tools, and CRM solutions.
- Demonstrated track record of ensuring technical integrity across digital marketing channels including web, email, SMS, and social media platforms.
- Experience with digital compliance in European markets, particularly implementing GDPR and ePrivacy requirements within marketing technology stacks.
- History of successful collaboration with marketing teams to implement campaigns and troubleshoot technical issues.
- Experience working in a multinational environment and collaborating across time zones.
- Experience with QA processes, systems documentation, and technology migration projects.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, Digital Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Professional certifications in relevant marketing platforms or technologies (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Adobe, etc.) are a plus.
