As Breakfast & Daytime Manager at Canal, you'll be a key part of the leadership team, supporting the General Manger and orchestrating the perfect start to each day in our stunning waterside setting.
Your role will include:
- Lead morning and lunch operations across our canal-side restaurant and terrace, delivering exceptional service from sunrise through lunch
- Create an energetic atmosphere that showcases our unique waterside setting in daylight hours
- Build meaningful connections with hotel guests, apartment residents, artists, and regulars
- Inspire and train your team, fostering an inclusive culture that delivers outstanding hospitality
- Manage schedules, recruitment, and financial oversight for the daytime operation
- Drive operational excellence in coffee service, food delivery, and supplier management
- Ensure flawless afternoon handover, with the restaurant perfectly prepared for evening service
- Bring personality and warmth, creating a vibrant daytime experience that makes our canal-side location shine
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous management experience in quality daytime, breakfast, or all-day dining operations
- Is hospitality-obsessed, with a genuine passion for food, coffee, people, and great service
- Leads with warmth, confidence, and professionalism
- Can energize a team during early hours while maintaining consistent standards
- Has excellent communication and leadership skills, bringing the best out of a diverse team
- Understands how to create memorable morning experiences for hotel guests, creatives, and locals alike
- Appreciates how our waterside setting can enhance the daytime dining experience
- Has a solid understanding of restaurant operations, financials, and health & safety
- Is keen to grow and develop within an evolving restaurant group
