Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for an experienced Mechanical Associate Director to join a leading design consultancy, specialising in engineering and environmental design, in a permanent position. The successful candidate will be expected to work on-site, full-time, from our client's London office. Within this role, you will be responsible for the management of residential and commercial projects, working with clients to meet their requirements.

-Competitive salary ranging from 80,000-85,000 (depending on experience).

Responsibilities:

-Direct and oversee the production of mechanical designs for a variety of complex building projects, from start to finish.

-Manage teams of engineers to ensure that the projects maintain technical calibre, quality, and innovation.

-Be the central communicator with clients to present design solutions and input.

-Work with other professionals to merge mechanical systems into concise designs, promoting sustainability and efficiency.

-Promote business development and progression, project bidding, with overall mechanical standard growth.

-Ensure that the project remains in compliance of current codes, quality protocols, and standards.

Requirements:

-Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or an equivalent qualification, with a focus on Mechanical and/or Building Services Engineering.

-Working towards, or at, a chartered status, with 10+ years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating leadership skills and knowledge of mechanical design.

-Extensive portfolio demonstrating the delivery of high-quality mechanical and HVAC systems, with a focus on building projects.

-Effective communication and leadership skills, with the ability to build and maintain rapport with colleagues and clients.

-Previous experience in supporting bids, fee propositions, and contributing to business development strategies.
