About the Drama Teacher Role:

We are seeking an exceptionalDrama Teacherto join our dedicatedDramadepartment. The successfulDrama Teacherwill have the opportunity to teachDramaacross Key Stages 3 and 4, inspiring students with engaging lessons and a love for the performing arts.

What you'll do as a Drama Teacher:

Deliver engaging and innovative Drama lessons that cater to a range of learning styles and abilities.
Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment where students can explore their creativity and develop their passion for Drama.
Teach a variety of Drama techniques and performance styles, fostering students' understanding of theatre and performance.
Direct and produce school productions and Drama showcases, providing opportunities for students to shine on stage.
Assess and monitor student progress in Drama, providing constructive feedback and support to help them achieve their full potential.
Contribute to the development of the Drama curriculum and departmental resources, ensuring that our teaching remains current and engaging.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and ensure the highest standards of Drama teaching.

What you'll need to be a successful Drama Teacher:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A degree in Drama or a related field.
Experience teaching Drama at the secondary level.
A strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum for Drama.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills.
A passion for Drama and a commitment to inspiring students.
