Nursery Practitioners and Nursery Assistants required

East London

Veritas Education works with a wide range of primary, secondary, and SEN schools across London and the surrounding areas, providing high-quality teachers and support staff for long-term, short-term, permanent, and daily supply roles. We partner with state, private, and independent schools, building strong and trusted relationships with our clients.

We are currently seeking qualified and experienced Level 2 or Level 3 Nursery Practitionersand Nursery Assistants to work in nurseries and primary schools across East London. These roles are ideal for childcare professionals who are passionate about supporting early years development in a nurturing, engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities for Nursery Pracitioner and Assistants:

  • Support the learning, development, and well-being of young children through play-based and structured activities
  • Help prepare and maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment
  • Act as a key person for a group of children, building strong relationships with parents and carers
  • Tailor learning and play activities to meet individual needs, including those with SEND
  • Attend staff meetings, training, and CPD opportunities as required
  • Carry out other reasonable duties to support the smooth running of the nursery or classroom

Requirements:

  • A relevant childcare qualification (CACHE Level 2 or 3, or equivalent)
  • An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
  • Experience working in an early years or primary setting
  • A friendly, proactive, and dedicated approach, with a genuine passion for working with children
  • Willingness to learn and grow professionally
