The SEN Teaching Assistant JobWe are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant to work with reception aged students with various and complex needs (SLD). You will provide one-on-one support, helping students engage with their learning and develop independence, literacy and mathematics skills. If you have patience, creativity, and a desire to make a real impact in the lives of these pupils, we would love to hear from you!

The Early Years Teaching Assistant Responsibilities

  • Work with class teachers to raise the learning and attainment of pupils
  • Promote pupil's independence, self-esteem and social inclusion
  • Support with planning, preparation and resourcing for lessons
  • Promote, support and facilitate inclusion by encouraging participation of all pupils in learning and extracurricular activities
  • Assist in delivering the EYFS framework
