Salary: 95 - 115 per day (depending on experience)

A vibrant and inclusive primary school in Lambeth is seeking a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team this September. This is a full-time, long-term role supporting children aged 3-5 in a nursery or reception setting.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the class teacher with daily routines and learning activities

  • Work closely with pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis to support early development in communication, literacy, and numeracy

  • Assist in delivering a creative and play-based curriculum

  • Help maintain a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment

  • Support pupils with additional needs, including speech and language delays or SEN



Requirements:

  • Experience working in an Early Years setting (nursery, preschool, or EYFS classroom)

  • A relevant childcare qualification (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3) is highly desirable

  • Strong understanding of child development and EYFS framework

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
