Key Responsibilities for Graduate Teaching Assistants:

  • Assist teachers with classroom management and lesson preparation.
  • Provide 1-1 support for children with SEN and running small group intervention lessons to help children who require additional help.
  • Adapt learning materials and resources to meet the needs of every child in the classroom.
  • Support social and emotional development for all and be a positive role model.

Requirements for Graduate Teaching Assistant:

  • Minimum education - Undergraduate Degree.
  • Experience working within the education sector is desired but not essential.
  • Academically strong and enthusiastic about education.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting children's learning.
