The Teaching Assistant Role:

This fantastic two form entry primary school based in the Central London borough of Westminster, is currently looking to take on a dedicated recent graduate to work as a one to one Learning Support Assistant for the full 2025/26 academic year. The teaching assistant role will call for full-time commitment 5 days per week on a pay rate of £95 - £110 (dependant on experience) per day.

The role will see you supporting a year 4 class as a general teaching assistant:

  • Support on a one to one basis with pupils with learning difficulties working to a lower ability.
  • Taking small intervention/booster groups covering Numeracy and Literacy.
  • Provide general in class educational support as a classroom support teaching assistant.
  • Aid the School with general administrative tasks as and when needed, display work, playground duty.
