Pay: 98 per day - pay will be reviewed after 12 weeks in the long- term position
Start Date: January 2026 - July 2026. Monday to Friday. School Hours. Term Time Only.
SANZA Teaching Agency is pleased to be recruiting a Nursery Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive Nursery School in Brockley, South East London. The nursery school is well located with excellent public transport links, making it easily accessible from across London. Nearest stations include Brockley and Crofton Park.
This role is ideal for someone with a passion for early years education who is committed to supporting young children during these crucial stages of development.
About the Role
As a Nursery Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support children aged 2-4 within a nursery or early years setting
- Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, play-based learning activities
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to promote social, emotional and academic development
- Support children with personal care where required, in a sensitive and professional manner
- Help create a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment
What We're Looking For:
- Experience working within a nursery or early years setting and ideally experience/knowledge of MAKATON and/or BSL.
- A caring, patient and proactive approach
- Understanding of the EYFS framework
- Confidence supporting young children with personal care routines
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
- A genuine passion for supporting children's early development
