Veritas Education is currently working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Bromley that is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children's learning and development within a school environment.

About the Role:As a Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils across the primary age range, from Early Years to Key Stage 2. Working under the guidance of the class teacher, you will help deliver engaging lessons, provide targeted interventions, and assist pupils with a range of learning and behavioural needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting individual pupils or small groups to reinforce learning

  • Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom management

  • Providing additional support to children with SEN and/or EAL

  • Contributing to a positive and inclusive school environment

  • Monitoring pupil progress and feeding back to teaching staff

Requirements:

  • A minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent)

  • Previous experience working within a primary school setting

  • A patient, proactive, and professional approach

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
