Reception Teaching Assistant - Primary School
Location: Hackney | Large, Inclusive Primary School
Pay: 95 per day (rising to 116 after 12 weeks)
Start: ASAP - Full Academic Year
SANZA Teaching Agency is recruiting an experienced Reception Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and busy primary school in Hackney. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled EYFS practitioner to support children's early learning in a nurturing environment. This school have a forest school on site so a love of working outdoors is essential.
The Role
- You will be based in Reception, working closely with the class teacher to support all aspects of the Early Years curriculum. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting small groups and whole-class learning, including leading phonics sessions
- Providing tailored support to children, including those who may require personal care
- Helping pupils develop independence, social skills, and confidence
- Working collaboratively as part of a dedicated Early Years team to ensure consistency and high-quality learning
About You
- Experience working in EYFS (Reception) - essential
- Confident in delivering phonics and early reading interventions
- A fantastic team player who is flexible, proactive, and reliable
- Ability to support children with personal care needs if required
- Patient, nurturing, and passionate about early years education
