A welcoming and supportive nursery in Lambeth is seeking a SEND Nursery Assistant to join their team, providing 1:1 support for a 4-year-old child with autism.

The Role

As a SEND Nursery Assistant, you will be provided 1 to 1 support for a child with Autism to help them access play-based learning and engage positively with their peers. You will receive training and ongoing guidance from the SENCO and will collaborate with the child’s family to ensure their needs are met effectively.
This is a part-time position (12:30pm – 4:00pm), with flexibility for candidates able to commit to 3–5 afternoons per week.

To be considered for this role, you will need:


• Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)
• Specific experience supporting children with Autism
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
