A welcoming and inclusive mainstream secondary school in Southwark is looking for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately. This is a full-time, long-term role that will run until the end of the current academic year, with the potential for further opportunities.
Responsibilities:-
Supporting students across a range of subjects and age groups, including those with additional learning needs

Working closely with classroom teachers to deliver high-quality, tailored support

Encouraging student engagement, independence, and academic progress

Assisting with classroom management and general administrative tasks

Supporting small group work and one-to-one sessions where needed

Previous experience working with children or young people (in school or another child-based setting)

A valid DBS registered on the Update Service

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

A genuine passion for education and supporting young people
