Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a full-time role in a welcoming primary school in Haringey? This lovely school is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work across Key Stage 1, supporting pupils with SEN needs while also assisting with general class duties.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support both the class teacher and individual children, particularly those with Autism and communication difficulties. You'll help pupils remain engaged, encourage learning, and create a calm and inclusive classroom environment.
Teaching Assistant - Role Summary:

1:1 support for pupils with Autism and speech & language difficulties.

General support including small group work, classroom preparation, and feedback.

Work collaboratively with teachers and SENCOs to implement strategies.
Requirements for this Teaching Assistant Role:

Prior SEN experience (especially Autism) is preferred.

Passion for education and helping children thrive.

Must have or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS.
